A bit inconsistent this week but better than last, the lobster season is looking like it will be a good one. The boat pressure was down but the sea lions were out of control!
Our best night this week we ended up with 24 nice lobster along with one 21lb Halibut caught on the plastic. With over 50 legal lobster this past Thurs thru Sunday there is plenty of bugs to go around.
Once the weather starts to change and the water cools I’m sure we will see even better numbers. Here are a some pics from the last few days…..

It’s been a night by night deal as far as the catching goes this week. If we are able to get to one of our good areas right off the bat we seem to do pretty good, If not it can be a bit of a struggle. The skiff traffic was pretty heavy this week.
Biggest lobster this week was caught on Sept 28th and weighed in at 10.8 pounds! We also had about a dozen in the 5-7lb range.
All in all the passengers are having a great time and the lobster fishing is pretty decent. By the way if you like rock crabs those are pretty easy to come by right now.
